1959 Triumph TR3 restoration This 1959 Triumph TR3 project was assigned to us by Dukes Garage in Westminster, Colorado. We initially picked up all the bolt-on-panels including fenders, doors, trunk, and hood. The fenders and front mouth panel were in particularly bad shape with a layer of thick filler on each panel. The right hand side of the 1959 Triumph TR3 had been hit at some point, causing medium scale damage. After inspection, it was deemed necessary to align the right side of the chassis frame on a table. See photos below for the condition of the automobile panels after media blasting. Notice the amount of body filler still remaining on each panel. The body filler was then removed to reveal the damaged panels and get them ready for restoration. A detailed description of the restoration process will follow in upcoming blog posts.
